The affix Satriblue is an abbreviation of the three colours found in Rough Collies, sable, tricolour and blue merle. 

Our interest in dogs  goes back to our childhood. Both of us were surrounded by a dog in our homes. At my wife's home there was always a German Shepherd around the house, while a Rough Collie was my family pet.

In 1996, we began to take serious interest in showing dogs when we imported our first Rough Collie a sable dog Ch. Evad Falcon’s Pride, a UK import, from Dot & Dave Weller. Another addition was a blue merle bitch Ch. Tameila Blue Sapphire, another UK import,  from Angela Hodgson's kennel. Later, a tricolour bitch, Wardette Ebony Rose was imported from John & Pat Stickler.

This time the charm of the Shetland Sheepdogs has captured our attention. Shelties are intelligent and family oriented dogs. We hope to be able to breed and continue showing Shetland Sheepdogs in the future.
